Quality Assurance Technician Actalent Hazleton, PA 18201 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. This position involves utilizing precision measuring instruments and adhering to industry regulations to maintain compliance with
ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA
regulations, and HACCP standards. The Quality Technician will be responsible for conducting quality inspections and implementing quality control measures throughout the production process. Duties Perform routine quality inspections on incoming materials and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers to assess product dimensions and tolerances. Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality control activities. Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary. Assist in the development and maintenance of quality assurance procedures in accordance with ISO 9001 and
ISO 13485
standards. Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and HACCP guidelines during all stages of production. Participate in internal audits and assist in preparing for external audits related to quality management systems. Fabricate test samples as needed for evaluation purposes. Requirements Proven experience in a quality control or quality assurance role, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with
ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA
regulations, and HACCP principles is highly desirable. Proficient in using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for documenting findings and reporting issues. A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in all tasks performed.
