Quality Control Inspector:
Manufacturing Company based in Willow Grove, PA is looking for an Incoming Inspector to perform material inspection and testing of received parts. The person for this position is part of the production team for the electro/magnetic position sensors designed and manufactured by the company.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Quality Control Inspector:
perform assessment, documentation and organization tasks to support the efficiency and effectiveness of the company’s supply chain. Inspecting incoming parts using industry-appropriate methods, such as comparing to standards, measuring dimensions and examining functionality Checking that the received part adheres to standards and procedures and complying with design requirements Reviewing blueprints and specifications to compare to produced goods Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes and inputting data into quality database Proposing improvements to the production process Updating job knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities and regular training Keeping measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements and calling for repairs Skills & Qualifications Quality Control Inspectors use a variety of soft skills and industry knowledge to ensure products are up to standards, including: Good written and verbal communication skills Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Keen attention to detail Basic computer and math skills to calibrate and measure specifications Ability to use measuring devices like gauges, meters, calipers and computers In-depth understanding of company standards Up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices Blueprint reading capabilities Documentation and reporting skills Teamwork and collaboration Comfortable standing for long periods of time Onsite Personnel is an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce in an inclusive culture environment.
