Provide technical information for active Versant Health Eye Care Professionals (ECPs) upon request. Investigate, analyze and problem solve for manufacturing processing defects in order to reduce remakes and improve quality and delivery performance. Where you will have an impact. Essential Functions:

Coordinate assigned ECPs eyeglass order escalations at the lab level, identify the root cause(s) and trend this data over time Trend breakage and remake data specifically for assigned Provider groups and drive to root cause Awareness of assigned jobs in facility to include status, tracking of late eyeglass orders, understanding remakes and reasons Communicate information to Versant Health Customer Service and ECPs for escalated eyeglass orders in process at each facility Determine quality acceptability for eyeglass orders Identify eyeglass orders that require special handling or processing Utilize tools and reporting to identify stagnant and aged eyeglass orders Identify and remediate the cause order delays and trend this data over time Evaluate data trends and work with the manufacturing teams to drive process and/or process management changes Coordinate with lab management teams to facilitate process improvement events as necessary Validate assigned eyeglass orders receive appropriate quality inspections Mentor and coach other associates on quality and optical standards as needed Practice and comply with all requirements of our Quality Management System (QMS), prescribed safety and hazardous materials handling procedures, and Federal/State laws regulating hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal Other duties as assigned What’s necessary to do the job? 3-5 years’ job-related experience required Optical fabrication training experience required Computer proficiency in MS Office, Graphic Presentations, Internet as well as technical training Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Customer Service experience a plus Lean training preferred ABO certification required or ability to acquire it within 24 months of obtaining the position Knowledge of the finishing process Must be able to read English to understand written procedures, hazardous warning, etc Basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions General problem solving abilities HIPAA & Security Requirements All Associates must comply with the Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) as it pertains to disclosures of protected health information (PHI) as described in the Notice of Privacy Practices and HIPAA Privacy Policies and Procedures.
