SUMMARY:

This position is primarily responsible for the verification and inspection of received parts.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Creation of inspection criteria for incoming parts and components, including updating criteria in the event of updated vendors or engineering changes
Review of shipping container invoices for inspection settings prior to arrival to ensure necessary information is available for inspection upon arrival
Updating of QC inspection requirements for parts and component in all necessary systems
Creation of addition work order for the rework of defective parts or components as required
Complete and update Quality Control Record as required in necessary systems
Comply with the QC Inspection Guide to ensure consistency in process
Verify certificates of conformance against incoming product and file as appropriate
Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or GED
A minimum of 1 years of relevant work experience
Must be able to read a tape measure and calipers
Must be able to use tape measure, calipers, and other measuring devises
Must travel up to 5%

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
Knowledge on use of FARO measurement system
