Overview:
The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the performance of refuse and recycling collection services. This role ensures that all operations meet the standards set forth in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and adhere to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct daily inspections of waste collection operations to ensure compliance with contract specifications. Prepare and submit inspection reports detailing findings and areas for improvement. Collaborate with the Superintendent and foreman to address performance deficiencies. Train personnel on quality control procedures and safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of inspections and compliance activities.
Qualifications:
Experience in quality control or inspection within the waste management industry. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Excellent communication and reporting abilities. Familiarity with safety regulations and environmental policies. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
