Westmoreland Mechanical Testing & Research is looking to fill our Project Engineer role. In this position you will have direct involvement in overseeing customers jobs and ensuring they are completed within the customer time frame. You will also communicate with the customer to answer all technical questions and report results. This is a great opportunity for motivated individuals who want a chance to work in a fast-paced environment and learn some new skills, all within the Latrobe/Youngstown area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversees the entire flow of each job Communicates with customers in the event of a delay concerning their job Quotes testing needs based off customer specifications Views logins and layouts of materials Reports results to customers in a timely manner Answers technical questions customers have

Requirements and Skills:

US Citizenship required High School or GED equivalent required 2-year degree in Engineering or similar disciplines is preferred Customer service experience preferred Technical training or courses preferred Knowledge in technical software Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) as well as other organizational/planning tools Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills Ability to adapt to changing work environments Ability to prioritize and multitask Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail Strong organizational skills Strong time-management skills Ability to stand, sit, or move around for prolonged periods of time
