Job Description

job summary: A Quality Inspector is needed for a multinational corporation that produces mirrors as well as a variety of construction, high-performance, and other materials in the Bristol, RI area. The Quality Inspector ensures manufactured products meet customer specifications through detailed inspections using CMMs and other precision tools, while supporting documentation, safety, and continuous improvement efforts in a manufacturing environment.

Bristol, Rhode Island job type: Contract salary: $18 – 20 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: High School responsibilities: Conduct final product inspections using precision measurement equipment.

Program and operate CMM hardware/software for part measurements.

Complete and assist with PPAP and FAIR documentation.

Generate detailed inspection plans and reports based on customer requirements.

Identify and document non-conforming parts and complete corresponding reports.

Assist with customer-mandated over-inspections before shipment.

Maintain organized and clean workspaces using 5S principles.

Accurately complete all inspection paperwork.

Perform tasks independently with minimal supervision.

Support quality engineering team with additional tasks as needed.

Skills:

Proficient in using precision measuring tools (calipers, CMM, height stand, etc.).strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Ability to follow written/verbal instructions.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.3+ years of manufacturing experience in a quality role (preferred).
