Job Summary:

Saint-Gobain is seeking a Quality Technician to support our manufacturing operations through comprehensive inspection and quality control processes. This role includes inspections at various stages such as shipping & receiving, in-process, and final inspections. Experience with CMM programming and operation is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct final inspections using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, CMM, height stands). Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM). Prepare and submit PPAP and FAIR documentation. Identify non-conforming parts and complete non-conformance reports. Support over-inspection for customer-specific requirements. Maintain clean and safe workspace in accordance with 5S principles. Follow all safety and PPE requirements. Assist with other tasks as directed by Quality Engineers or Aerospace Strategists.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality-focused manufacturing role. Proficient in using precision measuring tools and CMM systems. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally. Strong attendance record and ability to work independently.

Physical Demands:

Frequent standing, walking, and repetitive motion (hands/fingers). Occasional bending, kneeling, climbing, and balancing. Visual inspection and accurate reading/writing required. Ability to sit and perform tasks for extended periods.

Work Environment:

Fast-paced manufacturing setting. PPE and adherence to safety protocols required.
