Job Description
•
Responsibilities:
•+ Perform in-process inspections or audits as required by Control Plans and/or Check sheets. + Inspect or test manufactured samples; process any defects, as required. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings. + Verifies specified requirements of samples by using calipers, micrometers, vision system, and other equipment as required. + Responsible for rejecting defective parts, as well as evaluating customer returns and internal corrective actions. + Maintains the calibration of test and measurement equipment. + Inspects product received from external suppliers. + Record inspection results. Ensure ongoing ISO compliance. Work in team-oriented activities and interface with quality, manufacturing, and engineering teams. + Review final inspection documentation prior to shipment of products. Record, analyze and report key quality data. + Individuals should know how to interpret prints/drawings, written job specifications, quality manuals. •
Requirements:
•+ High School Diploma or equivalent required for technician role + Five years of related experience or training + Experience in Quality function in “job shop” manufacturing environment, specifically with experience on a “shop floor” and in a non-lab environment + Visual acuity required for performance of inspection tasks + Able to follow instructions and maintain neat, accurate records + Measuring with basic instruments: micrometer, and calipers. (English & Metric) + Ability to work independently; multi-task and manage time + priorities. + Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form + Capable of lifting items weighing 50lbs. •
Pay Details:
