Responsibilities:
- Prepare plans to include schedules, budgets, and personnel requirements to solve technical and quality engineering tasks identified by management
- Develop schedules, monitor progress, monitor budget expenditures, and review the quality of work completed to ensure that technical and quality requirements are met
- Support facility/project needs within the assigned area by conducting procurement, procedure, and work package review
- Communicate objectives and results to customers, colleagues, and management
- Prepare reports, professional papers, and articles for internal publication; occasionally prepare reports for external publication
- Communicate with DOE Sr. personnel regarding the QA/QC Program and corrective action status
- Enhance expertise in the field through leadership in local technical societies
- Experience in quality control/assurance execution in nuclear (DOE preferred) or other industry executing line-item construction projects
- Working knowledge of SRNS and/or SRPPF processes and procedures
- Ability to perform weekly field walk-downs of the job site for engineering work being performed (these walk-downs may involve construction sites with uneven surfaces and work in-progress, walking for distances over a half mile, and climbing ladders to access remote areas)
- Ability to monitor and validate quality of work package/construction reviews for the SRPPF Project
- Experience in the development, review, issuance, and execution of work control packages
- Experience in reviewing various discipline Engineering deliverables for conformance to specified design input requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills to establish and cultivate positive working relationships and interfaces with both internal and external customers

- Education/Yrs.
Of Experience:
- Bachelor of Science degree with ten (10) years of quality control/quality assurance experience
- OR•a High School diploma (or GED) with twenty (20 years) quality control/quality assurance experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Possessed an active DOE (L or Q) security clearance.
ACI (American Concrete Institution) certificationCivil work in a QA environment

- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q securityclearance
