The BAE Systems site in Aiken, South Carolina, supporting Combat Mission Systems is seeking a Quality Auditor (Receiving Inspection). In this role as a Quality Auditor, you will provide Quality support on the 1st Shift.
Included duties:
Inspect machined and/or welded parts to blueprint requirements for shipment to customer base.
Provide auditing support to shop floor operations.
Be able to support the 1st shift Monday-Friday 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
Note:
Overtime requirements vary due to support of customer needs.
Job Requirements:
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Typically requires a high school diploma or the overall equivalent and a year of related experience.
Experience with and/or working knowledge of basic inspection tools including scales, calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc.
Able to read, comprehend, and work to blueprints.
Able to support the 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
May consider candidates with additional experience for a more senior role.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Additional background with any of the below beneficial in this role:
Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM).
Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Weld Inspection.
Faro Arm/Laser Tracker or Keyence.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range:
$42436 – $67898
