out of 5 stars 107 Twenty Nine Court, Williamston, SC 29697 Overview We are seeking a detailed Quality Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure that plastic injection molded and assembled products meet the required quality standards and comply with Customer Standards. Duties
- Perform various daily inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, gage pins, color spectrophotometer, micrometers, etc.
- Visually inspect plastic injection molded and assembled products for defects such as flash, shorts, sink, color, warp, etc.
- Read and interpret product part prints, bill of materials, and quality boards.
- Perform first-piece, in-process, last-piece inspections, dock audits, outgoing and incoming inspections.
- Understand AQL Sampling Charts.
- Collect, analyze, and utilize Microsoft Excel software for data recording.
- Maintain, file, and organize quality inspection paperwork.
- Maintain and organize quality lab.
- Sort suspect products in a timely manner.
- Conduct workstation audits.
- Adhere to
ISO 9001
standard requirements for product quality.
- Assist manufacturing by giving breaks to molding and machine operators.
- Operate Plastic Injection Molding Machines while maintaining quality and productivity. Requirements

Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift a maximum of 30 lbs. consecutive or multiple times a day during a 12 hr. shift; Able to manipulate tools with both hands. Must be able to stand on feet for 12 hours.
- Screening Requirements
- background check and must be able to pass the Farnsworth Munsell 100 hue test for visual color inspections.
- High School Diploma, GED, or comparable work-related experience preferred.
- Experience in a fast-paced, production-based manufacturing environment preferred.
- Prior experience as a plastic injection molding quality inspector or other manufacturing environment preferred.
- Proficiency in using calipers, gage pins, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Experience with Excel and other Microsoft software products.
- Ability to perform detailed inspections and document findings timely and accurately.

Able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Math skills: Able to add, subtract, and multiply.
- Ability to multitask, work well with others in a team environment and independently is essential.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
