Start your new career as a Visual Inspector with MAU at SHL Medical in Ladson, SC. As a Visual Inspector, you will perform visual inspections of molded components to demonstrate that they meet required quality standards and specifications. This is an 8 – 12-week assignment.

What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or GED preferred
1+ year(s) of relevant experience preferred
Strong communication skills, both orally and written
Strong visual acuity and attention to detail
Ability to listen to instructions
Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
Ability to bend and lift 11 – 25 pounds
What You’ll Do as a Visual Inspector
Organize, categorize, and separate products and materials
Conduct visual sorting of cavities and visual inspections throughout the molding and assembly process to identify any defects or deviations from the quality standards
Sort molded components by cavity and separate them into designated categories or destinations efficiently
Perform visual inspection of molded components and sub-assemblies
Maintain a clean and organized production area
Load and unload items
Identify, document, and segregate non-conforming material
Communicate findings effectively
Perform other tasks as assigned
