Quality Control Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to join our team and contribute to our innovative food processing and packaging operations. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on recipe testing, cost analysis, consultation, nutritional paneling, and more. Responsibilities Perform quality assurance checks at all stages of production, including ingredient preparation, processing, bottling, and final packaging. Conduct laboratory evaluations—both physical and chemical—on raw materials, in-process batches, and completed goods in alignment with internal quality standards. Carry out microbiological assessments on post-production samples held in quarantine. Complete pre-startup inspections to verify sanitation status of equipment and production areas, ensuring readiness and compliance with changeover protocols. Validate cleaning-in-place (CIP) procedures using allergen detection methods. Manage the collection, labeling, and storage of product samples during production runs. Essential Skills High school diploma or GED. Proficiency in calibration techniques. Strong numerical skills. Experience as a lab technician. Additional Skills & Qualifications BS in Food Science, Food Engineering or equivalent. At least 1 year of experience in a QA function within food or beverage manufacturing industry. Work experience and trained in HACCP.
