THE MISSION
The Process Technician plays a key role in supporting the achievement of SetterStix’s business objectives by: Monitor and review information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems. Analyze information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
A SNAPSHOT OF EXCITING THINGS YOU WILL DO
Operate all machines in accordance with Setterstix safety standards and product specification sheets. Machines comprise stick machine from paper loading to auto packer, the carton erector, printer, pointer. This would include understanding of all applicable data noted on specification sheets and what actions need to be taken to satisfy specifications and regulatory requirements. Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects. Monitor and review information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems. Assure product quality by performing regular Quality Control checks of stick characteristics while performing the machine technician function (length, diameter, stiffness, wax amount, etc.) according to SOP. Assure quick problem solving and execution to achieve Setterstix targets Complete all necessary paperwork used in the production process accurately. WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TABLE
High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years’ experience as a Process Technician. Certification or credential in related fields from local career & technology center and/or local technical college is preferred. Excellent attention to detail. Willingness and ability to learn new skills on the job. Problem-solving skills with great attention to detail. Desire to multitask in a fast-paced, often-changing environment.
