Quality Assurance Position Available In Horry, South Carolina

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to join their team. As a Quality Assurance specialist, you will be part of the quality control department supporting various operational teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a mechanical aptitude which will align successfully in the organization.

• What’s the Job?
• + Work safely while testing materials, chemicals, acids, gases, solvents, and other test solutions.

+ Visually and mechanically inspect samples of amorphous metal alloy products for conformity to specifications. + Prepare samples for elemental analysis by sectioning or crushing using a ring pulverizer mill. + Conduct analysis using a wide array of testing equipment, including carbon/sulfur and oxygen/nitrogen analyzers, spectrometers, and various hand tools. + Average/review test results and record data in the computer/QA system.

• What’s Needed?
• + High school graduate or equivalent (required). + Chemical background, training, and/or relevant industrial/mechanical experience (preferred). + Above-average math skills (preferred). + Ability to conduct analysis and accurately interpret and record test results and data. + Basic computer skills: ability to enter, retrieve, and evaluate data.
