Job Description We have an immediate opportunity for a 2nd Shift Tester Technician to join us at our diverse team in Easley. Testing and adjusting valves with a hydraulic test stand conforming to a written set of engineering specifications. Job Responsibilities Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. Installing and removing test fittings. Installing orifice and/or plugs after test. Loading and unloading valves from test fixtures. Transporting valves to paint line. Retrieving information from computers on testing instructions Operating a hydraulic test stand. Maintain minimum production levels. Maintain a safe, clean work area (keeping oil off floor). Notify supervisor of shortages of testing supplies. Comprehend and execute instructions from engineering blueprints, routing, work instructions and Engineering Test Orders Using pneumatic torque tools. Use pressure, flow, leakage, time, torque, and length gauges. High School diploma or GED equivalence Must have basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) Must read and write legibly Must be able to work standing for extended periods. Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs. repetitively Must have good motor skills. Must be able to work while wearing safety equipment.
