Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Understand and follow Quality System documents relevant toresponsibilities, e.g., Quality Manual, SOPs, and Methods. Acts as a resource for laboratory personnel for correctapplication and interpretation of internal quality documentsrelevant to their assigned tasks. Responsible for ensuring non-conformances and complaints aredocumented via the electronic tracking system and that timelinessrequirements are met. Monitor nonconformances, root cause analysis,and complaint resolutions for trends. Learning and documenting key microbiology lab processes Analyzing operational and quality control data Using data visualization tools to identify trends and improveefficiency Supporting internal audits and regulatory complianceinitiatives Assisting with the implementation of continuous improvementprojects Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulationsrelative to assigned analytical work; maintain and assist others inmaintaining a clean, safe work environment. Registration of incoming samples (as needed), maintaining aneat and accurate record system of work performed on a daily basisand as needed for quality control tests or regulatorypurposes. Enter the sample data into Eurofins eLIMS system in a timelyand accurate manner. Complete laboratory testing on all incoming samples in anaccurate, efficient and timely manner; ensure sample turnaroundtime goals are met or exceeded. Identify process difficulties and report these together withproposed solutions to supervisor. Maintain a perpetual state of readiness and willingness torespond to the queries and needs of clients, staff, andco-workers. Maintain cooperative working relationships with all companyemployees. Communicate orally and in writing to co-workers. Promote the company image through the exercising of sound andethical business practices as related to the public and ourcustomers. Continually strive to improve the quality of work we provide toour clients through existing and new technologies Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Basic Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or any related fieldrequired
  • Experience with Power BI, Microsoft CRM and Tableau preferred
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely withoutrestriction or sponsorship Additional Information Position is Full-Time, Monday-Friday, first shift,withadditionalhours, as needed.
