Until Objective:
The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for sampling, monitoring and auditing all production processes, documenting findings as required.
Job Responsibilities:
Evaluate and address issues with line during pre-op procedures Work with sanitation crew to release lines during pre-op procedures Perform and document all in-line checks on predesigned time schedule Perform and document process control testing sample collections Assists with FS lab duties as directed, including performing enrichments Verify packaging integrity by performing seal checks Collect controlled samples from each production run Monitor, correct and document GMP violations within facility Assist QA management with Foreign Material inspections as needed Assist QA management with sample tests as needed Train in all areas available for assigned shift Notify supervisor of any quality defects present in product along process flow Identify Food Safety Hazards and address appropriately Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Previous quality experience preferred Experienced with computers, iPad technology Must have a desire to achieve excellence in customer satisfaction, process, product quality, and reliability. Must be detail-oriented with respect to documentation and communication. Flexible and open to change Self-motivated and result oriented Positive team player High school diploma or equivalent
Safety Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50lbs+ using approved lifting techniques Must be able to be on feet for extended periods of time in cold, wet environments Must be able to climb stairs regularly Must be able to withstand heights of up to 10+ft for extended periods
