THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN GAFFNEY, SOUTH CAROLINA

… These jobs are long term temporary with the ability to be hired full time. Pay rates starting at $21.75!
As a Quality Inspector you will:

• perform inspection of outbound goods per inspection plans
• determine pass/fail result of inspections to published requirements
• inspect for correct and accurate contents label, shipping label, packing slip
• inspect for correct material, quantity, stacking pattern, outer wrapping, structural support items and proper pallet type
• check condition of material packaging and pallet for damage
• pare results of inspections to Bill of Laden and Delivery Note documents
• restack pallets, wrap and prepare inspected material for shipment
• document results of inspections in Excel workbooks
• municate inspection results with supervisor, Main Office quality team in Gastonia and warehouse personnel
• issue non-conforming material reports
• confirm effectiveness of reworked non-conforming material
• assure M+H quality procedures and processes are followed
• municate and interface with warehouse logistics personnel
• provide feedback and improvement ideas for inspection plans and frequency
• follow all safety guidelines and instructions
• has the authority and the responsibility to stop any process or product delivery in case of a non-conformance of customer expectations, safety or environmental risks, etc
• support inbound inspectors for sorting and identification of materials as needed
• perform other duties as assigned

Experience/Skills:

(preferrable, not required)

• 2 years of experience in quality or related technical role
• Proven ability to investigate and resolve quality related issues
• Experience following inspection plans for characteristics shown on Engineering drawings
• Knowledge and proficient use of inspection devices
• Proven ability to work well with on site and remote individuals
• Able to lift products weighing up to 35 pounds
• Excellent verbal and writtenmunication skills
  Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm

Pay Details:

$21.75 per hour
