The successful candidate will support our quality assurance processes through hands-on inspection, adherence to
ISO 9001
standards, and active participation in internal and external audits. The Quality Inspector will play a critical role in maintaining our commitment to quality and ensuring that all finished products meet customer and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Perform in-process and final inspections of coated and assembled parts for conformance to specifications. Use various inspection tools and equipment including calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Document inspection results accurately and maintain records in compliance with
ISO 9001
standards. Identify and report non-conformances, and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions. Participate in internal quality audits and support customer and third-party audits as needed. Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve quality issues. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and environmental regulations. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical training or associate degree preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial quality control environment. Familiarity with
ISO 9001
standards and quality system requirements. Experience participating in internal and external audits. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Proficient in the use of inspection tools and measurement equipment. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and experience with quality documentation systems. Preferred Qualifications
ISO 9001
internal auditor certification. Experience in the coatings or automotive industry. Knowledge of SPC, control plans, and PPAP documentation. Working Conditions Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, chemicals, and coatings. Standing, walking, and lifting up to 40 lbs as required. Day shift with occasional overtime or weekend hours depending on production needs.
