QA/QC Technician – Data Center Project (Montgomery, AL)

Full-time | Long-term project United Trades of America is currently hiring a QA/QC Technician for a high-profile data center construction project in Montgomery, Alabama. This is a critical role focused on ensuring quality, safety, and compliance across all phases of construction. If you are detail-oriented and experienced in quality assurance/control for industrial or commercial builds, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform inspections and testing of mechanical, electrical, or structural systems according to project specifications Monitor installation practices and ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols Maintain accurate and up-to-date QA/QC documentation, reports, and logs Collaborate with site supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors to identify and resolve deficiencies Ensure compliance with drawings, specs, ITPs, and applicable codes Document and report non-conformance issues and confirm resolution through corrective actions

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of QA/QC experience in commercial or industrial construction Experience with data centers or mission-critical projects is highly preferred Strong working knowledge of ITPs, submittals, RFIs, and construction documents Familiarity with construction codes, specifications, and jobsite safety requirements Proficient in Microsoft Office and QA/QC tracking tools Excellent communication and documentation skills OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred
