$23-$25 starting pay rate 1st shift: 8am-5pm (Monday-Friday) About the Role Are you detail-oriented and passionate about ensuring precision in manufacturing? As a Quality Technician , you’ll play a crucial role in inspecting and validating machined products, castings, and tooling while overseeing quality control processes. Your expertise in machining and tooling will ensure product integrity and compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities Utilize Micrometers and Calipers. Perform gage calibrations to maintain accuracy in measuring tools. Conduct first article inspections, final audits, and in-process verifications to ensure product quality. Generate layout and inspection reports using precision measuring instruments, including CMM, Faro, calipers, and micrometers . Provide weekly quality updates , reporting customer concerns and corrective action statuses to the team. Measure products to verify compliance with design and quality specifications. Manage quality records, check sheets, and inspection processes for consistency and accuracy.

2015 Quality Management System Responsibilities Perform daily audits to ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS). Develop and oversee controlled documents such as quality records, forms, procedures, and drawings . Manage the Corrective/Improvement Action Process to drive continuous improvement. Address customer concerns , including managing non-conforming products, containment, and 8-D responses . Oversee Certificate of Conformance, First Article, and Final Audits . Ensure material control, receiving, and traceability . Conduct ISO internal audits to maintain compliance and improve efficiency. Lead monthly quality performance meetings , presenting updates on quality objectives, internal audits, gage calibration, and management reviews . What We’re Looking For Experience working in a machining and/or tooling manufacturing environment . Strong understanding of machining processes, product inspection, and validation . Expertise in quality measurement tools, including CMM, Faro, calipers, and micrometers . Proficiency in managing
ISO 9001
2015 standards and quality system improvements. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 – $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
