Job Description
Quality Control Technician
Gpac is partnered with a global leader in agricultural processing operations. As a Quality Control Technician, you’ll ensure product quality and safety by inspecting production stages, identifying defects, and implementing corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify that drawings, layouts, and quotes align accurately.
Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods using various tools to detect defects.
Develop and execute tests to measure product parameters.
Record test results and analyze data for quality trends.
Prepare inspection reports detailing findings, non-conforming products, and corrective actions.
Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accuracy.
Monitor production processes for potential quality issues and recommend improvements.
Maintain quality control checklists and ensure adherence to safety standards.
Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in quality control and manufacturing.
Experience with welding and metal fabrication.
Proficient in CAD viewers, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. While collaborating and communicate effectively with teams.
