Supplier Quality Technician Job Description We are seeking a Supplier Quality Technician to support our plant in ensuring that products entering the facility from our supplier base meet quality standards. As a Supplier Quality Technician, you will oversee incoming products, ensuring compliance with product audit requirements, and manage non-conforming parts by collaborating directly with suppliers to resolve issues and implement corrective actions. Responsibilities Oversee the quality of products entering the facility from the supplier base. Ensure products meet product audit requirements and manage non-conforming parts. Collaborate with suppliers to issue reports and take necessary problem-solving actions to evaluate root causes and implement corrective actions. Issue costs back to suppliers for non-conformance and quality issues arising at the plant, including creating cost analyses for labor, space, and materials. Address slow response times from suppliers by stepping in to perform sorting and containment as needed. Essential Skills 2+ years in automotive quality as a Supplier Quality Engineer or 10+ years as a Supplier Quality Technician or Coordinator. Experience with inspection, non-conformance, documentation, supplier communication, root cause analysis, and corrective action. Experience with ERP systems and/or supplier portal systems; SAP preferred. Experience with assembly processes, quality engineering, quality control, supplier management, and nonconformance. Additional Skills & Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field preferred but not required. Previous experience providing quality support in an automotive tier

I JIT/JIS

environment for supplier parts. Experience leading PPAP and FMEA processes and documentation. Understanding of class A or surface/fascia parts quality requirements is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel. Good verbal and written communication skills. Detail-oriented and able to identify potential problems and escalate as needed. Work Environment The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 am – 5 pm, with some overtime expected, totaling about 45 hours a week. Occasionally, work may be required outside these hours due to supplier locations in different time zones. The OP Spring Hill plants are newly established, featuring a clean, well-lit environment with modern facilities.
