Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Quality Control Tech is responsible for ensuring the vinyl records are in good order by doing both visual and listening inspections.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Verify all component numbers are correct on the etching of the record
- Visual inspection of labels o Ensure labels are correct and on the right side of the record o Ensure labels are not cracked, wet and doubled
- Visual inspection of records o Ensure there is no warping, cupping, and jagged/sharp edging that has occurred o Ensure there are no dimples, scratches, scuffs or stains o Ensure vinyl color is correct
- Listening inspection of records o Ensure there are no pops, cracks, or skips in the dead space between songs and at the beginning and ending of each record
- Notify Manager/Supervisor if any components are incorrect or if any records have defects
- Complete necessary inspector forms
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Other duties within department that may be assigned
- Adhere to all safety rules and regulations
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to follow instructions to carry out assignments

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to prioritize tasks
Education and Experience:
Prior experience in quality control
Physical Requirements:
Potential lifting of up to 60 lbs. Extended periods of standing, lifting and moving Due to the open environment of the facility, working in various weather conditions is required
