This role involves inspecting and testing materials, products, and production processes to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect and Test Products:
Conduct inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Read Blueprints and Specifications:
Review blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to understand the quality requirements for products and materials.
Identify Defects:
Detect and report any defects or deviations from specifications, and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain Records:
Keep detailed records of inspections, tests, and other quality control activities. Collaborate with
Production Team:
Work closely with the production team to address quality issues and implement improvements.
Use Measuring Tools:
Utilize various measuring tools and equipment, such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges, to perform inspections.
Ensure Compliance:
