Signature Homes is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Framing Inspector in our Nashville, TN market. This position will manage the overall framing process from green plate to framing inspection and the right candidate will enjoy working in a very fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage framer subcontractor processes and performance
Schedule subcontractors to lots to be framed in coordination with builders
Work closely with framing inspectors
Distribute and maintain reports of inspection findings.
Inspect framing for compliance with building codes and regulations.
Partner with our structural department and design team to ensure house is framed according to house specifications
Review and approve all framing invoices for accuracy
Inspect subcontractor framing to confirm it meets Signature Homes high quality standards
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge of construction, engineering, and building codes and regulations.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Must be physically able to inspect construction sites including walking properties.
Proficient with Microsoft office suite.
3+ years of residential construction experience required.
The person in this role will be self-driven, have excellent time management skills, be detail oriented and can interact with customers, sub-contractors, and employees in a professional manner.
