Material Runner Snow Country Roofing 120 Catamount Drive, Milton, VT 05468 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Runner to join our dynamic team within a fast-paced roofing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products throughout the job site. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle various tasks including order picking, going to supply house, picking up extra material from jobsite. Responsibilities Pick up leftover materials from completed or paused jobsites and return them to the warehouse or supplier as needed. Pick up and deliver materials, tools, and equipment required for active jobsites to ensure crews have what they need to stay on schedule. Conduct regular site visits to assist with material drops or pickups based on crew and production needs. Ensure all delivered materials match order specifications and are in proper condition. Maintain direct communication with the Production Manager to receive daily assignments and updates. Report any issues encountered at jobsites (such as missing materials, safety concerns, or delays) to the Production Manager promptly. Assist in organizing and tracking leftover or returned materials to minimize waste and support inventory accuracy. Ensure company vehicle used for deliveries is maintained in clean, working condition. Follow all company safety protocols when loading, transporting, and unloading materials. Maintain records of material pickups and drop-offs, including jobsite addresses and quantities delivered or returned. Provide additional support to production and field crews as needed to ensure smooth daily operations. Qualifications Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. Willingness to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
