Job Description

Threading Operator 2.6 2.6 out of 5 stars Sycamore, AL 35149 Thread Machine Operator The threading machine operator is responsible for threading bolts, studs and nuts per the instructions and product standards provided or described on Pick Tickets and Work Orders. Read and understand Pick Tickets, Work Orders, Ameribolt Work Instructions and Procedures. Perform machine set-up to produce orders. Perform routine preventive maintenance as required. Identify Head Stamps for manufacturer marks and grade of fastener. Use a Tape Measure and dial or digital calipers. Verifying Tape Measure on a daily basis and sign tape measure log. Use Go and No-Go Ring or Plug thread gages properly Verify work for correctness and accuracy per requirements of the order Complete company documents as required for work performed. Keep Area clean and organized. Follow all Safety Rules and Policies. Perform other duties as assigned. Safety Concerns Always wear cut resistant gloves. Never try to handle shavings and curls of steel with hands use tools provided. Never place hand under head of the nut threading machines. Never try to grab a tap in the nut threading machine. Always Lock Out and Tag out machine when making repairs or setting machines up to run.
