Production Supervisor Position Summary:

The Industrial Sewer is responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality sewn products according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read patterns and blueprints, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate industrial sewing machines to assemble products according to patterns and specifications Inspect materials and finished products for quality and consistency Follow production schedules and meet daily/weekly quotas Perform basic machine maintenance (threading, cleaning, troubleshooting minor issues) Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve efficiency and quality Maintain a clean and organized workstation Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Minimum 1-2 years of industrial sewing experience (preferred, but willing to train the right candidate) Experience with materials such as canvas, vinyl, leather, or heavy fabrics a plus Ability to read and interpret sewing patterns and technical drawings Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail Able to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to [X lbs] as needed
