Industrial Sewing Machine Operator – Port Allen Evaluation Hire $15-18/hr Monday-Friday 7:30 am – 4 pm Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing and recruiting firm, is currently hiring a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to join their production team in Port Allen . In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining automated sewing machines to produce high-quality products promptly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience with automated sewing systems, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate automated sewing machines to perform stitching tasks on various fabrics, ensuring precise stitching patterns and consistent product quality. Set up and calibrate machines before production runs, ensuring they are correctly configured for each specific order. Monitor the operation of automated sewing machines to ensure consistent performance and identify any irregularities such as fabric misalignment, thread breakage, or machine malfunctions. EDUCATION NEEDED

Proven experience as an automated sewing machine operator or in a similar manufacturing role, preferably in the textile, garment, or similar industries. Detail-oriented and able to work on repetitive tasks. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines. Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and safety protocols. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
