Responsibilities:

The ability to sew-in handles, hems, binding, flaps, covers and other products while performing top stitching tasks and be able to work with a 2″ needle machine. Pay will be based on experiences. Depending on knowledge of different machines and needles. This position is responsible for setting-up a work area. Must also have the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the following duties. This position will be using a single needle and surging. Ensure that high quality products are produced within the shift and meet the company’s quality systems, processes and procedures. Knowledge of marking and checking measurements, and work with tape measure. Show initiative to make process improvements. Sew test will be given during the interview process. Pay attention to fine details of a project or task. Must stay focused with tasks at hand while avoiding distraction or creating conversation within the work area. Meet customers specifications while working in a fast-paced environment. Participate in a team work atmosphere and contribute to various continuous improvement projects and processes. Maintaining a clean, organized and safe work environment. Must possess the ability to perform at required production standards with minimal supervision. Must be flexible to adapt to changing conditions. Must be patient and have team support and willingness with a positive attitude. Must have exceptional interpersonal (behavioral) skills.
