Sewing Machine Operator Akin Complete Furniture Dumas, AR 71639
Objective:
Responsible for sewing fabric according to patterns by guiding pattern parts under machine needle and presser foot utilizing an industrial sewing machine.
Responsibilities:
Ability to operate and have an understanding of the sewing machine. Turns knobs, screws, and dials to adjust settings of machine, according to pattern style and observation of operation. Ability to keep one hand and arm steady while guiding the fabric with the other arm and hand Cut material and threads, using scissors Ability to sew zippers, welt, buttons, etc. on fabric Work in other areas as needed and seen fit per supervisor
Qualifications:
Ability to sit, bend, push, pull, lift, and reach Good physical hand and eye coordination Possess good attitude, listening skills and work well with others Follow specific instructions Adhere to safety regulations Adhere to policies as documented in the Akin House, Inc.
