Job Description Job Summary:

The RegenerationOperator prepares resin, mobile equipment and ion exchange resintanks for customer fulfillment. Regenerates ion exchange resin andmedia with various chemicals. Handles chemicals such as acids,bases and salts. Performs quality control checks on the equipmentand is generally responsible for tasks performed by PlantOperations. • Monitors bulk chemical delivery. Duties & Responsibilities
• Receives resin from customer sites in resin tanks or on mobileequipment. Empties tanks or equipment of the exhausted media andprepares it for regeneration.
• Regenerates ion exchange resins andmedia with acids, bases and other chemicals.
• Performs qualitycontrol checks on the equipment to ensure specifications are met.

Tests may include pH, specific ions, resistivity, and TDS.

• Repairs and helps maintain the bottles/tanks and other service typeof equipment, which could include minor valve/PVC repairs,painting, and refurbishing as required.
• Prepares resin tanks ormobile equipment by filling empty tanks with regenerated media. Thejob description is not designed to capture all the employee’sresponsibilities but is intended to capture essential functions ofthe role. Responsibilities may change over time and may be assignedat any time.
• Separates ion exchange resins as required
• We takesafety seriously and require everyone to wear personal protectiveequipment, for example safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, andsafety shoes, as required
• Other duties as assigned Knowledge,Skills & Abilities
• At least 1 year of experience in comparablemanufacturing environment involving chemical handling, or at least1 year of experience in plumbing, pump or mechanical repair.
• Thisis a physical job where you will need to perform frequent liftingand bending motions, use hand tools and manually manipulateproducts/ equipment.
• Operate Forklift as needed

QualificationsEducation & Experience Required:

• HS Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record history

Preferred:

• HS Chemistry knowledge highly desired AdditionalInformation
• Ability and willingness to complete occasional siteassignments for customer troubleshooting, operation andinstallation.
• Ability and willingness to perform physical dutiessuch as lifting, climbing, working at elevated heights, and manualdexterity
• Ability and willingness to work in range ofenvironments to include but not limited to industrial facilities,manufacturing facilities, and power industry facilities
