Responsibilities:
Operate high temperature vacuum furnaces Load, unload, and operate furnaces according to established procedures and specifications. Monitor furnace performance, temperature, pressure, and other critical parameters to ensure optimal operation and product quality. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubrication, and troubleshooting. Maintain detailed logs of furnace runs, including temperature profiles, pressure readings, and any deviations from standard procedures. Inspect, clean and evaluate finished products Proper handling of fragile machined graphite parts is paramount. Post-processing of graphite parts after furnace operations. Follow all safety protocols and procedures, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
At least two years of experience operating high temperature vacuum furnaces (1,000-2,000°C). Strong understanding of vacuum technology and furnace operation principles. Experience with strict safety requirements. Must wear proper PPE when handling various Solvents / Chemicals. Must be proficient with numbers.
Hours are:
Monday through Friday
- 6:00 AM
- 2:30 PM. The pay is up to $27/hour Benefits Medical and dental insurance Vision insurance Vacation time One week sick time PTO
