Our Opportunity North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Tool & Die Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will construct and repair machine shop tools, gages, fixtures, jigs, and Injection Molds for use within the plant. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Your Priorities + Performs a variety of tasks on molds, tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures, including: + Lathe work•turning, drilling, threading + Tool Sharpening + Mill work + Surface grinding + Welding + Drilling + Tapping/Threading + Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Your Background High School Diploma or its equivalent, plus 2•4 years of related experience in a tool room environment—including experience maintaining Injection Molds (polishing, bench/hand work, welding, surface grinding, etc.). Ability to tool weld and stress weld and knowledge of heat treatment is preferred.
