Essential Duties Responsibilities:
Saw, grind, drill, or shape fiberglass laminates. Place finish coats of resins or gel coats on laminates, make repairs to small holes or chips and report any instance of less than a top-quality product. Place screening, gaskets, or special items on laminates by gluing, laminating, or bolting. Transport finished laminates to the storage area. Perform daily clean-up and residue disposal. Assist in loading of laminates for shipment. Assist in storage of stock material. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tools. Assist in laminate or precast concrete production during work overload or emergency situations. Assist in repair of existing molds and fabrication of new molds. Advise the finish and precast Foreman of fire, safety, or work hazards. Assist the building of protective boxes, crates, or pallets for fiberglass and precast items. Saw, drill, grind, or shape stock material as needed to support field installation. Assist in field installation, repair or maintenance as required. Observe and maintain all fire and safety procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
HS Diploma or equivalent. No experience necessary.
Other requirements:
Valid Florida Driver’s License. Ability to drive a forklift.
Working Conditions:
Works indoors 50% and Outdoors 50% of time. Exposed to hazardous materials. Exposed to frequent loud noises. Exposed to dangerous machinery. Generally works five 8-hour days, although overtime may occur.
