The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision machining and tooling, with the ability to create, modify, and repair tools and dies used in the production process. This role requires a keen attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency in various machining techniques. As a Tool and Die Maker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing operations. Responsibilities Design, fabricate, and repair tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures used in production. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy. Operate machinery including lathes, milling machines, and stamping presses to manufacture components. Program CNC machines using CAM programming techniques for precision tool creation. Conduct regular maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with engineering teams to develop new tooling solutions for production needs. Troubleshoot issues with existing tools and dies, making necessary adjustments or repairs. Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used. Skills Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (micrometer, caliper). Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in tooling fabrication. Familiarity with CAM programming for CNC machinery. Ability to operate lathes and stamping presses effectively. Experience with CAD software for designing tooling solutions. Welding skills are a plus for tool repairs or modifications. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for collaboration within the team.
