CNC Machnist – Milling & Turning Position Available In Gwinnett, Georgia

Manner USA, Inc. is seeking a CNC Machinist with experience in Milling and Turning (Lathe). The candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating machines for manufacturing high precision molding components. They will need to be skilled in working with different tool steels, using blueprints and keeping to tolerances of up to +/-.005 microns. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills with a strong background in machining steel and plastics. Core Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules daily work and set up equipment, using a variety of precision measuring devices and machine attachments and fixtures.
• Uses set up sheets and drawings to set up work on machines, and create programs at the machine to manufacture parts
• Computes dimensions, widths, and angles of cutting tools, micrometers, scales, and gauges, and adjusts tools to produce specified cuts.
• Knowledge of calculating speeds and feeds
• Set up and install cutting tools into the machines, setup of jobs within the department
• Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements as instructed by the manufacturer, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing tasks on time as needed.

• Must be very organized and thorough, following all procedures for quality and safety.
• Must be able to work independently as well as being part of the team.
• Must be able to manage time well to meet deadlines.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and CAD drawings.
• Inspection experience and able to use precision measuring devices for overall quality.
• Knowledge of proper Health and Safety measures.
• Desire to learn and grow within the company.

Qualifications:

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ Years’ Experience in milling and turning
• Journeyman Certification a Plus
• Experience on Mazak and Fanuc machines a Plus
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
