Adecco is hiring for a Tool Room Technician on 1st shift for a greatpany in Fitchburg! This role is

DIRECT HIRE.

Hours:

7:00AM-3:00PM, Monday-Friday

Pay:

$27-$35-hour DOE

Summary:

The Toolroom Technician supports production by maintaining and preparing molds, dies, and tooling equipment for use in injection molding. This includes performing routine maintenance, repairs, sharpening, and conversions of moldponents. The role requires hands-on mechanical work, precision, and adnce to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on injection molds, including disassembly, cleaning, repairs, and reassembly.
Operate machinery such as mills, EDMs, lathes, grinders, and other tools to service mold and dieponents.
Convert moldponents and troubleshoot tool performance issues in collaboration with the engineering team.
Maintain accurate documentation and follow detailed work instructions for mold preparation and quality standards.
Support 5S initiatives and maintain a clean, safe, andanized tool room environment.’

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in machine shop operations with equipment like mills, EDMs, and grinders.
Proficient in reading blues and using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to lift up to 50 lbs (occasionally 100 lbs with assistance).
Basicputer skills and ability to follow both verbal and written technical instructions.
Experience with hot runner systems, electrical testing, or CNC EDM setup is a plus.

Pay Details:

$27.00 to $35.00 per hour
