Per Diem Summary:

Under supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse and according to established policies and procedures, performs various service duties to provide supervision, companionship, and support to the patient. Helps to maintain patient room in a clean and orderly condition. Specific duties may vary by area of assignment.
The Bedside Companion – Acute Care role provides supervision and close observation of selected patients for identified behaviors.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

Education:

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Relevant experience preferred.
