Job Purpose Delivers early planningand engineering solutions with agility and cost competitivenessacross Product, Process and Tooling to improve N.A. manufacturingcharacteristics. Key Accountabilities Supports advance Body Frame Paint equipment feasibility studyfor New Model Body in White construction from styling sketchthrough 1st drawing issue. Creates strategy and plans for study,specification and equipment concept. Reports New Model equipmentcontent to Project Leadership and Business Unit Mgmt. Leads Manufacturing Paint New Model equipment verificationcheck list requirements and drawing maturation across N.A. DEBQfunctions. Conceives and leads the development of New Model PaintEquipment specifications and process plan to 1st Plan. Providedirect technical guidance and oversight to downstream customers toensure successful design and production deliverables are met.

Monitors Design Change through drawing maturation. Supports complex manufacturing category problem analysis,determine root causes, recommend corrective action, and setSAP(Specific Action Plan) in the New Model development.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Minimum Educational Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical orIndustrial) or equivalent related experience. Minimum Experience 3+ years of Engineering experience, expert knowledge ofEquipment/Tool New Model, expert knowledge of Honda Productionfacilities. Other Job-Specific Skills Problem solving analysis and breakdown to root cause. Expert knowledge of Honda New Model development andManufacturing. Expert of Body in White construction. Go-to person forspecified assigned category. Working Conditions 10% Travel, 5 to 10 hours of OT per week Willingness and capability to work on the production floor tounderstand equipment and Plant perspective What differentiatesHonda and make us an employer of choice?
