Full Job Description Summary:

Pump Mechanic with 3+ years of experience. This position will be responsible for safely performing multiple machine tasks. Applicant must be able to assess machine issues and repair successfully.

Essential Functions:

Must be able to work on multiple machines including manual lathes, manual mills, horizontal boring mills and vertical turret lathes. Must understand materials, cutting tools, speeds and feeds, and machining techniques. Responsible for personal safety and the safety of those around him/her. Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Requires long periods of standing, reaching and using hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to complete work with limited supervision. Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements. Must be able to handle multiple projects and work independently Must be able to read measuring instruments, hold tolerances, and generate desired surface finishes. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and perform quality checks as needed

Hours:

Full-time. Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm with frequent overtime and weekends as needed to meet customer deliveries. Schedule changes may also be required.
