JOB STATEMENT

Set up, operate, or tend machinery that bendsmetal work pieces according to production schedule. Shift Monday-Thursday 6am- 4:30pm Pay $17.00 ESSENTIAL

FUNCTIONS

Measurecompleted work pieces to verify conformance to specs, usingtemplates or rulers. Examine completed work pieces for defects andsort defective pieces according to types of flaws. Read work ordersor production schedules to determine specifications locations ofc-angle. Load metal work pieces into machines. Set up, operate, ortend machines to bend metal material. Start machines, monitor theiroperations, and record operational data. Test and adjust machinespeeds or actions, according to product specifications, usinggauges and hand tools. Install, align, and lock specified punches,dies, cutting blades, or other fixtures in rams or beds ofmachines, using gauges, templates, feelers, shims, and hand tools.

Clean and lubricate machines. Position, align, and secure workpieces against fixtures or stops on machine beds or on dies. Keepwork area clean and neat. Other duties as assigned.

JOBSPECIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. One totwo years previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience.

Basic reading, writing and math skills required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must regularly lift up to 50 pounds. Regularly required to walk,stand, and bend.
