This position might be a great fit for you. We’re looking for a Tool and Die Maker to join our team in South Charlotte. This role is ideal for someone who’s experienced with progressive tools, enjoys problem-solving, and can work both independently and as part of a team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Building dies and tooling from blueprints all the way through to job approval. Troubleshooting and repairing stamping tools as needed. Ensuring all parts meet first article inspection standards. Performing preventative maintenance to keep everything running smoothly. Setting up and operating machine tools in a power press environment. Working with close tolerances and maintaining high standards of accuracy. Running tool room equipment including grinders, mills, lathes, and heat treating systems.

What We’re Looking For:

Solid experience in tool and die making, especially with progressive tools. Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions. Skilled in operating manual mills, lathes, grinders, and other machining equipment. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. Someone who’s goal-driven, dependable, and able to work independently when needed.
