Job Description:

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Tool Maker.

Location:

Rochester, NY As a Tool Maker, you will be: Candidate must possessa machining and fabrication background and ability to work withintight tolerance specifications. Scope is focused on the timelyexecution of assigned tasks as an individual contributor andfunction well within a team environment. This role involves workingdirectly with engineers on the design, development, and fabricationof new and existing products to optimize design formanufacturability. Read engineering drawings/blueprints/schematicsand detailed work instructions. Maintain accurate records andmanufacturing documentation. Mechanically inclined, and be able towork with very fragile and precise assemblies Speaks clearly andconcisely, presenting ideas effectively to individuals or groups.

Demonstrates appropriate computer knowledge. Understands andadheres to established policies, procedures, and proper laborcharging practices. Perform as an individual contributor as well aswithin a team environment. Proficient with operating Mills, surfacegrinder and lathe.

Preferred Additional Skills:

SkilledJourneyman’s Certification. Experience in anElectrical/Mechanical/Optical fabrication discipline. Aerospace orDefense industry experience. Experience with CNC programmingutilizing MasterCAM. Experience working with composite materials.

Experience with MIG/TIG welding. Experience with sheet metalfabrication An Ideal candidate will have High School Diploma orequivalent and a minimum of 4 years prior relevant experience or 2years post- Secondary/Associates Degree with 2 to 4 years of priorrelated experience. Pay Range•: $30-$33 per hour. •Pay rangeoffered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors,including the candidate’s education, work experience, worklocation, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
