CNC Technician – 10192 Position Available In Nassau, New York

CNC Technician – 10192 HumanHire Williston Park, NY 11596 HumanHire is partnered with a leading machinery distributor in search of a CNC Technician for their office in Williston Park, NY. The CNC Technician will be responsible for repairing and rebuilding live tool holders, performing set ups and installs of CNC Swiss lathes and automatic lathes, and maintaining equipment while supporting technical departments. We are seeking CNC technician and toolmakers with precision machining and live tooling repair experience to join our growing team!

Compensation:

Up to $36/hour

Hours:

Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-5

PM Benefits:

CNC Technician Responsibilities:

Setting up and installing CNC Swiss lathes and automatic lathes Operate manual and CNC machine tools such as lathes, mills, grinders, and hones to fabricate, modify, and maintain tooling and production parts from metals and plastics Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to produce custom tooling and fixtures that support production and service teams Perform routine maintenance and retrofit upgrades on CNC machinery and equipment to maintain optimal performance and safety Inspect finished parts and tooling assemblies for quality and ensure strict adherence to specifications and safety standards

CNC Technician Qualifications:

Prior experience as a CNC Technician or CNC Toolmaker required Ability to interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics Strong working knowledge of Swiss-style CNC lathes Proficiency using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators Ability to work independently as well as supporting cross-functional teams If you are interested in learning more, please apply to this posting with your resume and a recruiter will be in contact within 48 hours if qualified.
