Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Molder Operator to operate and maintain our Weinig Powermat 700 molder. The ideal candidate has experience with high-precision woodworking machinery, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to producing top-quality custom components in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and monitor the Weinig Powermat 700 molder for custom millwork production Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job orders to determine machine setup and tooling requirements Select, install, and adjust cutting tools and machine components for optimal output Measure, inspect, and verify molded parts to ensure conformance with specifications Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues as needed Maintain clean and safe work area in compliance with company safety standards Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards

Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of woodworking, moldings, and machine tooling Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and move materials as needed (up to 50 lbs) High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in woodworking a plus
