System One is currently seeking a Toolmaker for anindustry-leading client in the Latrobe, PA area.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoots and recommends solutions for problem molds that havebeen assigned by the Director of Tech Services. Sets up andoperates all tool room equipment using very close tolerances.
Ability to read mold drawings or hand sketches to enable thecompletion of repairs or tool modifications. Performs mold cleaningand rework as outlined by the mold processing procedures for allfacilities. Maintains proper records of activities on molds andtime required to complete the job. Responsible for special projectassignments as requested and gives detailed reports of theirresults to the Manufacturing Engineering Manger both verbally andin writing. Keeps completed and updated files on all projectscurrent or complete. Reports to the Manufacturing EngineeringManager all matters requiring his attention. RequirementsManufacturing Safety Standard Method of Work GD&T Preferred-Completion of 4 year apprentice program working in the Tool and Diefield M1
